Don Post Headmaster
Mr. Post attended college at Virginia Tech where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics. Following his training in the U.S. Army Reserves, he worked for five years as a civil engineer building highways. Several years later, Mr. Post received his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He has pastored a church in Landrum, South Carolina, and planted a church in Huntington, West Virginia.
Having always been committed to formal Christian education, Don attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and received a Master of Arts in Teaching. Several years later, along with a half dozen people, they began a classical and Christian school in 1995. Mr. Post served as the headmaster there until coming to TOCS. During this time, he was also elected to the permanent board of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools. In 2000, after 30 years in the Army Reserves, Mr. Post retired as Chaplain.
Mr. Post is married to Barbara and has five children (one is deceased) and seven grandchildren.
